Riverboard History:
October, 2010. Cheoah river at 1,600 cfs ( 60% above normal ).
Spring / Summer 2010. Undefeated in riverboard racing!
August, 2010. 1st Place at Ocoee Royale Boardercross event (sprint).
July, 2010. 1st Place at Pigeon River Dirty Bird Dash Boardercross event (sprint).
April, 2010. 1st place at Southeast regional Boardercross event (sprint). 1st place at Southeast regional Extreme Downriver Event (endurance).
November, 2009. Flood stage riverboard run of the Pigeon river at 14,500 cfs (12 times the standard recreation release level ).
June, 2009. 2nd place at US Riverboard Championships- Boardercross event and 3rd overall for championship weekend. Also 4th in Freestyle
June, 2009. First Riverboard Descent of Jacob Ladder's rapid on the North Fork of the Payette, ID. Class V+
May, 2009. Flood stage riverboard run of the New river at 50,000 cfs and New river Dries section at 40,000 cfs.
January, 2009. First riverboard descent of El Chorro Gorge on the La Naranja river in Costa Rica.
September, 2007. First riverboard descent of the Yangtze river, roadside section on the border between Lijiang and Ning Lang counties in Lijiang prefecture ( class III/IV ) Yunnan province, China during late summer flows of 60,000 + cfs. Spring, 2007. Selected as a team rider for Facelevel Industries during their first year of sponsoring riders.
February, 2006. Planned and organized logistics for a week-long riverboard trip to New Zealand for three other riverboarders and myself.
Other First Riverboard Descents: Blackwater River (WV, 2009), Bottom drop of Dry Meadow Creek (CA, 2009), Watauga River Gorge (NC, 2009), Sandstone Falls (New River, WV, 2008.), Big Creek (NC, 2004), and Wilson Creek (NC, 2003).
Goals: Riverboard on 6 continents. Maryland Channel of Great Falls of the Potomac river (MD), Tumwater Canyon at high water (WA), Glenwood Canyon of the Colorado river at high water (CO), Salween river, Yunnan province, China; Mekong river, Yunnan province, China; Great Bend of the Yangtze river, Yunnan province, China; Rhondo Gorge of Indus river, Pakistan; Huka Falls, New Zealand; Nevis Bluff rapid, New Zealand; Aratiatia rapids, New Zealand; Zambezi river, Zambia; Congo river, Congo; Tallulah Gorge (GA); break waterfall record for riverboarding.
